Why an owl, and why vector?
A vector is a line with a direction. In design, vectors are the shapes drawn with a pen tool: points joined by lines, sharp at any size. That's how we like to work. We start from a single point, move with purpose, and end with something clean that scales.
The owl is there because it watches carefully before it acts. We do a lot of listening before we draw anything. It also turned out to be very good at following people's mouse pointers.
